Google Apps for Education
Google Docs, Sheets, Slides and Forms are the core apps withing the Google Apps for Education suite of tools.
Google Drive: Any written work in Google Drive can be shared with your teacher or a peer through your MCDS Google Apps for Education account. This can include a text document, a presentation, a spreadsheet. You may use Chrome, Safari or the Google Drive App. Google Classroom: Some of your teachers may be using Google Classroom tool this year. It is a tool that integrates easily with all your other Google Apps for Education. GMail: In some cases, email may be the best method for turning in assignments, it will depend on the class and type of assignment given. |
Homework Assignments
Use Veracross to check your homework assignments, as well as other important calendar items. Please use your school-issued username and password (your email consists of the first letter of your first name, and then your whole last name, then the letter "s" followed by @mcdsstudent.org). For example, [email protected]. Usernames are NOT case-sensitive, but passwords are.

Dropbox
Dropbox: Dropbox can be used for any kind of file, photos, videos, reports in Pages, projects in Keynote and more. A Dropbox account is free to set up. Your teachers will help you to create an account with your school email and password.
